you’re getting ready for work in the morning and your kid is looking at you all sad and dejected and then you walk toward the door and tell him “goodbye, baby,” and he starts crying, so you say to yourself “just go, JUST GO,” but he starts crying even harder, so you run out and hope that his dad gets him to calm down as quickly as possible…
Yeah, THAT SHIT sucks.
I knew it would be hard going back to work after maternity leave. What I didn’t know is that it gets even harder once they know you’re leaving for the day and don’t want you to. Makes me wanna holler…
